Nexus, the experimental community design for your WoltLab Suite, which creates uniformity out of apparent contrasts and thus, turning your forum into an avant-gardist.

Nexus - the artistically intelligent form of interlocking. The exchangeable background images form a liaison with the contrasting colors of the main content in this style. The navigation in a tab look comprises a slight lightbox effect, including a color change in the active hoover, and a drop-down mechanism, moreover the special highlight lies in the fixed menu, remaining visible in the course of scrolling.

The equally outstanding userpanel locates the language change panel and the search panel, resembling a pinned card of the member when being logged in. Additionally the framed text box within the threads attracts attention, while on closer inspection also the different nuances of transparency can be detected. The narrow footer is reminiscent of the footer of websites, thus detached from the known community character.

Different aspects come together in this design, not repelling each other, but mirroring themselves and lending each other their impressive form. Opposites attract, not just literally.

A unique and innovative tabbed style

I had been looking for a tabbed style for some time and am delighted that CLS had this style in their portfolio.
Installation was easy, including the change of logo to my own and thanks to help from Tom at CLS, I was able to make some fine adjustments to get the theme exactly how I wanted it.
There are some very nice subtle features built into Nexus including the animated logo which shrinks a little with mouse hover, the boxes blend into the forum layout with appearing to be boxes, a handy user account mini profile appears in the top right upper bar and the Nexus Blue colour scheme suits my forum perfectly.
More than anything, I'm very pleased with the tab style, making navigation around the forum very natural and fluid.
I should also say that customer service from CLS is of a very high standard and I'm delighted to have found such a professional developer to work with.
